The BRCGS Food Safety Management System, a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) approved scheme, is recognized worldwide. BRCGS Certification is designed to verify food products that meet consistent high levels of safety and quality.
This 1-day course will provide learners with an in-depth understanding of the revisions to the Standard requirements. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the changes to the Standard on site.
Learning Objectives:
- Know the reasons for changes to the Standard, including industry developments.
- Be able to explain how the changes will benefit retailers, manufacturers, auditors, and consumers.
- Recognize the changes from Issue 7 including changes to the format of the Standard, changes to the existing clauses, and new requirements and clauses.
- Understand how changes to the protocol of the Standard affect the audit process and reports.

Food industry managers, supervisors and team members responsible for food safety systems.

Before attending this course you must read and review the Issue 8 Standard, which will be available from the BRCGS Bookshop in August 2018.
